Starting point
It is based on ecommerce-react, an open-source project by Julius Guevarra (Apache 2.0 license). I used it to study how a real store is organized: catalog, cart, checkout and admin panel with React, Redux-Saga and Firebase.
What I did
I localized it to Spanish, connected it to my own Firebase project with my own products and deployed it on my own server. I also added a fallback so that, when a product image fails to load, the store shows the product name instead of spinning forever.
What it gave me
Reading and changing a codebase I did not write from scratch: Redux-Saga state flow, the structure of a complete store and how to handle loading and error states.
